Lauren Williams and Melanie Matchett Wood to Give Invited Talks at ICM

Professors Lauren Williams and Melanie Matchett Wood have both been asked to give invited talks at the quadrennial International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) to take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia in July 2022.

Professor Williams will give an Invited Lecture on “The positive Grassmannian, the amplituhedron, and cluster algebras” to the combined section on Combinatorics, Lie Theory, and Mathematical Physics. More here.

Professor Matchett Wood will give a Special Sectional Lecture on “Interactions between number theory and random structures” to combined sections on Combinatorics, Number Theory, and Probability. More here.
