CMSA EVENTS: CMSA Geometry and Quantum Theory Seminar
When: November 11, 2025
4:15 pm - 6:30 pm

Speaker: Sunghyuk Park (Harvard University)
This is the first in a four-part series, organized together with Vasily Krylov, Sebastian Haney, and Lorenzo Riva, aimed at understanding Aganagic’s categorification of quantum link invariants through Coulomb branches and homological mirror symmetry.
In this first talk, I will lay the algebraic background for this story by explaining how Khovanov homology can be understood in terms of higher representation theory via Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier- Webster (KLRW) algebras.
