Abstract:

Last semester, I introduced the Brill-Noether loci of special loci and remarked that I was giving a "bad" definition.  In my talk this semester, I will give a "correct" definition and discuss some implications.

The construction is a nice application of some big, technical theorems on coherent cohomology and I hope to (briefly) survey these results as well.
