I study the geometry and topology of symplectic manifolds and
algebraic varieties, using ideas which come from mathematical physics
(especially string theory).
More precisely, I spend most of
my time thinking about Gromov–Witten invariants and mirror symmetry.
Slides from some of my talks can be found below.
My CV is here.
This semester I will be teaching
Math 25b. My office
hours are Monday 2–3pm and Friday 1–2pm.
In the Fall semester of 2003 I taught
Math 21a, and in the Spring
semester of 2004 I taught Math
121.
