I will be at Princeton (for 2008-2009) and then at UPenn (from 2009 onward).

Welcome to my homepage. I am currently (until the end of Spring 2008) a Benjamin Peirce Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics here at Harvard, and I hold a National Science Foundation Fellowship.
For the 2008-2009 academic year, I will be Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Princeton. I also have a Tenure-Track Assistant Professorship in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, where I will start teaching in the following year.

My mathematical research has been focused on the analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations. I have written papers about the Boltzmann equation and several models derived from it, such as the Vlasov-Maxwell-Boltzmann system, the relativistic Landau-Maxwell system, the Balescu-Lenard equation, and other non-relativistic soft-potential Boltzmann and Landau models. I also work on the equations of incompressible fluid mechanics, the Navier-Stokes equations
I used to maintain the webpage for the joint MIT/Harvard Analysis Seminar. The page for our current seminar was then moved here. However up-to-date seminar information for the seminar presently resides on this page at MIT.
