Calculus timeline


Look at their faces! Archimedes (a few seconds before his death looks pretty happy (because doing math or because he can be bare chested?)), Galileo Galilei, Descartes, Pascal (probably the happiest fellow on this picture, no wonder, he invented also a calculator), Leibniz, Newton and Bernoulli ( who all either need a haircut, different wigs or ligthen up), then Euler (with the funny hat or just coming from the shower), Gauss (also in a night gown), Weierstrass (who enjoyed find errors in the work of companions like Riemann (at last, the only one with spectacles).
