Statement: My research is in number theory and representation theory. I am also interested in teaching mathematics at all levels, and in communicating the great ideas in mathematics to the general public. We form a link in a great intellectual chain, dating back to the mathematicians of antiquity, which is our responsibility to enhance and maintain.
