The MQC is staffed by course assistants (CAs) from Math X, 1a, 1b, 21a, and 21b, as well as by some graduate students from the math department. They are not there to do your homework for you; their job is to help you understand the material well enough to do the homework yourself!
Unfortunately, there are not enough CAs to make sure that each course has a CA on duty every night, but any of the staff members should be able to help you with your questions.
The MQC is often used by a very large number of students, which means that MQC staffers may only be able to spend a few minutes helping any one student. Make the most of this short time! Students who have used the MQC offer the following advice:
Finally, remember that the MQC is not the only available source of help! Each course has office hours and problem sessions; consult your course webpage for details.
For the Spring 2007 semester, the MQC will open on Tuesday, February 5th and end on Monday, May 1st.
