  • There is an interesting article related to data fitting in the New York Times. You know the name Strogatz already from the review (slide 69 in Review slides, Podcast [M4v]. You can verify Zipf's law out yourself: look here. By the way, George Zipf was a linguist who studied and worked at Harvard.
