8'th homework: for graduate credit you need to get 2/3 credit in one of the three options:
  1. challenge problems (turn them in at the end).
  2. Mathematica lab: start here
  3. do two book dicovery projects from book. Examples:
    • p. 821 Quadratic approximation + applied project on p. 900 on Roller Derby
    • p. 829 The two applied projects on Rocket Science and hydro turbine optimiziation
    • p. 893 volume of hypersphere together with p. 901 intersection of three cylinders
    • p. 977 the writing project (several page essay which using original sources).
