Dependence of the Curve on the number of Points

When plotting curves, Mathematica plots a polygon. The step size dt=[b-a]/PlotPoints in plotting the Polygon with points Pk = r(t+k dt), where k runs from 0 to PlotPoints can be changed with the option "PlotPoints->n" where n is an integer. For complicated curves, PlotPoints needs to be larger.
